MAGNOLIA MANOR SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT FOR OPERATIONS RECEIVES STATEWIDE LEADERSHIP RECOGNITION
Magnolia Manor Corporate Office, Americus, GA, February 9, 2018 – Magnolia Manor is pleased to announce that Senior Vice President for Operations, Hill Fort was recently presented the 2018 Leadership in Innovation Award. The award was presented by the Georgia Health Care Association and Georgia Center for Assisted Living (GHCA/GCAL) at the Stars in Long Term Care Award Ceremony on Wednesday, January 17 during the GHCA/GCAL Winter Convention and Trade Show in Atlanta, GA.

Presented annually by GHCA/GCAL, the Leadership Excellence Awards are given to individuals who demonstrate leadership that is worthy of statewide recognition. Recipients are leaders in long term or post-acute care centers of any occupation who demonstrate exemplary commitment to providing the highest quality of care to Georgia’s deserving seniors. There are three award categories, Leadership Excellence, Leadership Innovation, and Leadership in Public Confidence.

Hill Fort was hired as the Administrator of the Americus Nursing Center on August 30, 2004. He has served as Senior Vice President for Operations since 2008. His responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of all facilities and campuses. Currently the organization serves 1500 residents with over 1200 staff members on eight campuses throughout South Georgia. Hill has been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator since 1996. He is a past President of the Southwest Council of the Georgia Healthcare Association and is active in other roles across the industry. He is a leader in the industry across the state for his innovative approaches to improving quality care to seniors. Hill has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the former Southern College of Technology (now merged with Kennesaw State University) in Marietta, GA.
