At Magnolia Manor of Macon, we have a small lake that is perfect for an afternoon “fresh catch” or for an evening stroll. It is surrounded by 144 independent living apartments, 16 villas, an assisted living wing, and many happy residents. Our busy retirees have the option of getting together with friends for lunch in the formal dining room, or choosing to enjoy the privacy of dining in their own homes. There is an abundance of activities and events that our Macon residents enjoy, including the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

Campus Activities

The Linda H. Lane Resident Life Center was constructed adjacent to the Supportive Housing building with easy access for its residents and is open to all residents on the Macon campus. Active seniors can enjoy the pool, exercise equipment, aerobic studio, area for dining and/or meetings, and Beauty/Barber Shop. The Linda H. Lane Resident Life Center is just one of the many reasons Magnolia Manor is the “healthy” choice for retirement.

We have 120 independent living apartments in one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans for ultimate carefree living. We also have 16 two-bedroom independent living villas for seniors who want carefree living with a little more privacy.

In 2001, 24 of our one-bedroom apartments became supportive housing thanks to a grant from Housing and Urban Development. Rent subsidy is available through our supporting housing option to qualified low-income independent living residents.

Catered Living is Independent Living with additional services for retirees that truly want more time to do what they love most. This living option is ideal for retirees who have no time or desire to cook, clean or do laundry when the best shopping, golf courses, and historic sites are so plentiful and close to home.
