Magnolia Manor Home Office, Americus, GA, July 23, 2026 – Magnolia Manor of Midway is proud to announce that it has been recognized with the Excellence in Wound Care award from Quality Surgical Management (QSM). The long-term care organization was presented with its commemorative banner yesterday in recognition of its dedication to delivering exceptional wound care and positive patient outcomes.

This recognition reflects Magnolia Manor of Midway’s commitment to providing high-quality care through evidence-based wound management practices and a team devoted to improving the health, comfort, and quality of life for every resident.

Quality Surgical Management (QSM) partners with long-term care providers across the country to advance wound care through specialized clinical expertise, staff education, and quality improvement initiatives. To earn this Excellence in Wound Care designation, organizations must demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence, continuous quality improvement, and maintain exceptionally low wound-related rehospitalization rates. Award recipients must also maintain dedicated QSM-certified wound care nurses on staff.

“Our team is constantly striving towards providing the highest standard of care for our residents. To receive this award from Quality Surgical Management is truly an honor. It’s also a testament to the dedication, compassion, and excellence our entire team demonstrates each day,” stated Jenice Baker, Magnolia Manor of Midway Administrator.
