Magnolia Manor Representatives Lend Industry Knowledge at the AHCA Quality Summit

Magnolia Manor Home Office, Americus, GA, May 23, 2022 – Angela Watkins, Magnolia Manor of Marion County campus Administrator, and Susie Fussell, Vice President for Resident Safety and Emergency Management attended the American Healthcare Association (AHCA) Quality Summit, held in Kissimmee, FL on May 16 - 18, 2022. The AHCA Quality Summit is held annually to provide assisted living, post-acute, and skilled nursing quality professionals with best practice information relative to quality and safety. Members gather to share ideas and experiences with colleagues and learn about innovative solutions from experts and presenters.

As a member of the AHCA Quality Council on the Emergency Preparedness/Life Safety Committee, Fussell represented Magnolia Manor in an in-person Strategic Planning Meeting. Also representing Magnolia Manor, Watkins was asked to serve as a panelist for the session on “Customer Satisfaction Lessons from Gold Quality Award Recipients.” Watkins lent her knowledge by answering a series of high-level questions regarding customer satisfaction. She also spoke at another session called “Leadership Matters: Helping Others Succeed,” where she detailed information regarding the Career Ladder Program and the Administrator in Training Program that Magnolia Manor has to offer.

By attending the AHCA Quality Summit, Susie Fussell and Angela Watkins have played instrumental roles in helping advance functionality for long-term healthcare providers across the country. They have also provided ways to implement the knowledge they’ve obtained and help Magnolia Manor continue providing high-quality service to seniors for years to come.
