Magnolia Manor of St. Marys Receives A Challenge Grant
Magnolia Manor Home Office, Americus, GA, January 13, 2020 – Late fall of last year, the St. Marys United Methodist Church Foundation, Inc. (SMUMC) announced that Magnolia Manor in St. Marys would be one of 12 organizations to receive a challenge grant. The $50,000 donation will be used to provide general operational support for the St. Marys campus. In order to receive this grant, Magnolia Manor is required to raise an additional $50,000 by the end of 2020.
As a ministry of the SMUMC, Magnolia Manor was established to provide long-term care and affordable living to older adults in south Georgia. Magnolia Manor plans to use this gift to continue fulfilling their purpose and serving their residents. Through fundraising efforts and support from the local communities, Magnolia Manor has developed a strategy to achieve their goals and match the grant.
