Senior Living Explained
Learn what different types of senior living care are available and which one best fits your needs now and in the future.

Magnolia Manor is a faith-based, nonprofit organization. In that, we are different from most organizations that own and manage senior living communities. Throughout our decades of service to seniors in South Georgia, we have earned a reputation for excellence. As a donor, you can be a part of that. But why should you do so?
Founded Upon a Promise
Magnolia Manor was founded on a promise that has defined us and set us apart from the very beginning of our ministry: No resident will ever have to leave Magnolia Manor if, through no fault of their own, they can no longer afford to fully pay for the cost of their care.
Built Upon Generosity
At Magnolia Manor, our mission and values are apparent in our long-term priorities and the quality of care we offer to our residents every day. Because our roots are deeply embedded in Methodism, we welcome the generosity of our greater community -- individuals, families, organizations, and businesses whose financial contributions enable us to deliver exceptional and affordable senior living care that meets the evolving needs of residents.
So Many Ways to Give
Charitable giving is often a very personal experience, even for business donors. The right fit makes your tax-deductible contribution feel even more valuable. There are many ways you can make a difference in the lives of our senior residents.
Unrestricted Donations
Money is the first thing that comes to mind, of course, and it is the most versatile contribution since we can direct funds as needed. Our dedicated leadership team will determine where unrestricted donations can have the greatest impact. That might be expansion and upgrading of current facilities to add housing, make renovations, or other improvements. Or it might be covering the cost of transportation that empowers residents to participate in off-campus activities such as weekly worship at a church of their choosing: shopping trips, restaurants, movies, and special events.
You can make a one-time monetary contribution, or a recurring one – monthly, quarterly or annually. As a business, you can consider corporate sponsorships.
League of the Good Samaritan
This critically important fund addresses the overwhelming fear that most seniors have of outliving their financial resources. All donations to the League of the Good Samaritan are dedicated to fulfilling our promise that residents may continue to live at Magnolia Manor, even if their financial circumstances change.
Program Gifts
Donations can fund any number of the various programs we offer at our nine campuses in Americus, Buena Vista, Columbus, Macon, Midway, Moultrie, Richmond Hill, & St. Marys. For example, your contribution might support access to memory care programs and pleasant outdoor areas for seniors with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia. Or it might help fund activities that enable residents to stay active, such as trips to experience the beauty of nature or attend a live performance in another town.
Volunteer!
Our residents love socializing among themselves, but volunteers add further dimension to our Magnolia Manor family. This is a renewed joy, now that the isolation of COVID is behind us. You can volunteer on campus, participate in (or assist with) our fundraising events, or advocate by encouraging your church or a group of members to “adopt” Magnolia Manor as part of your service work.
Donate
To fulfill the mission, vision, and values of our ministry depends on the generosity and faithfulness of our donors.
Give today to make a difference tomorrow. As always, feel free to contact us online or at 1-855-540-LIFE with any questions.
